How many years on the torch, and how did you get started?
I took a glassblowing class at Salem Community College in 2003 and couldn’t stop from there.

What’s your favorite part of glass blowing? 
I love to make things, always have — especially things that people will use and get to enjoy. Glassblowing gives me that opportunity like a lot of other mediums. But I think glass is different to me, because it’s a very old art form that also seems to have a lot more left to discover.

What drew you to the Puffco platform? 
The innovation of it all.It’s incredibly easy to use but still functions well. Making the glass interchangeable, giving artists a new “canvas” to work on — it made me want to see what I could create for it, what kind of innovations I could come up with by pushing its boundaries.
